Some years ago, the municipality of Söll embarked on a comprehensive redesign of its village square, which can be regarded as a significant urban design project. Various stakeholders and interest groups were involved in this process to ensure that the redesign meets the needs and wishes of the residents as well as the strategic goals of the region.
The planning of this project was highly inclusive and participatory. Alongside representatives of the Wilder Kaiser tourist board and the Bergbahnen Söll, local residents were also closely involved in the planning process. This participation made it possible to take the different perspectives and concerns into account and thus achieve a broad consensus on the redesign of the village square.
