Haus M – Aldrans

In Aldrans, Tyrol, a family begins a new chapter in their lives when they decide to adapt their home to the needs of a growing family. The existing house could no longer meet their space requirements, and so the decision to convert it was a step in the right direction to meet their individual needs.

The heart of this conversion project is undoubtedly the intelligent spatial planning, made possible by demolishing the old roof structure. This created three new bedrooms and a contemporary bathroom. Each room was designed with attention to detail to create a cosy atmosphere, while the modern bathroom improves the comfort and functionality of the house.

A particular highlight of the project is the south-facing roof area, which was transformed into an inviting roof terrace. This extension of the living space offers not only an idyllic place to relax, but also an impressive view of the surrounding landscape. The roof terrace becomes the family’s meeting place, where evenings can be spent together against the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset.

In addition to extending the living space, the integration of sustainable elements and modern design was also a focus of this conversion project. The use of environmentally friendly materials and energy-efficient technologies not only improved the house’s environmental footprint but also ensured its long-term sustainability.

Overall, the conversion project in Aldrans is an inspiring example of how careful planning and execution of a building project can significantly improve quality of life. The successful combination of additional space, modern design and sustainable elements makes this house a contemporary and inviting home. Aldrans can be proud to see such a positive change in its community.
