Conversion of a Town Villa – Innsbruck
Our design team recently had the opportunity to work on a project for a modern extension to a villa from the 1920s. The aim was to create a space that blends seamlessly into the existing architecture while conveying natural light and a sense of openness. We opted for a timber structure for the extension, which through the use of partly solid timber slats offers both solid and open structures. The façade was clad in aluminium sheet, lending the design a modern touch. Extensive glazing was also provided to allow views and a connection to the outside while preserving privacy.
