Bistro Pettneu am Arlberg – completed April 2022

In April 2022, we were able to complete work on the bistro in Pettneu am Arlberg. Pettneu lies in the Stanzertal, in a setting with heavy tourist traffic – the bistro is part of a small hospitality ensemble and addresses both local guests and tourist visitors.

With smaller building tasks in the tourism sector, we attach particular importance to the result not speaking “tourism vocabulary” in the narrow sense. Most alpine bistros, cafés and Stuben work best when they come honestly from the region, with local materials, clear spaces, carefully considered lighting and a gesture appropriate to the setting.

The Bistro Pettneu follows this approach. Architecturally restrained, precise in its materials, appropriate in size to the place – a project that shows that smaller commissions, too, deserve great attention.
