C3 Magazine Issue 319 – International Architecture Publication

C3 is an internationally distributed architecture magazine based in Seoul, South Korea. It addresses a professional readership of architects, students and collectors and generally publishes single-theme issues with extensive project documentation.

One of our projects was published in issue 319. Publication in C3 differs from local or regional press coverage: it curates worldwide, it publishes in English (and partly in Korean), and it places a project within an international frame of comparison. For an Innsbruck practice with its focus in the Alpine region, this form of recognition has a value of its own.

This early international visibility – around 2011 – was part of a phase in which several of our projects found their way into professional and design publications outside Austria. The experience of being selected by internationally curating editorial teams helped shape our understanding of what in our work is capable of translation.
