Osttirol Journal – magazine feature on our farmhouse refurbishments

Alongside the Osttiroler Bote, the Osttirol Journal is a second important publication platform for regional topics in the Lienz district. Unlike the weekly Bote, the Journal appears with longer background features and a more strongly theme-curated editorial plan.

Stadt:Labor was the subject of a magazine feature in the Osttirol Journal that placed our work in the region in a broader context. Topics such as farmhouse refurbishment, heritage conservation and tourism architecture can be presented differently in a magazine format than in the daily paper – they can unfold depth in photo series, interviews and longer texts.

The feature is representative of a series of journalistic engagements with our work that have emerged in East Tyrol over the years. They show that our activity in the region is perceived not merely as the sum of individual buildings, but as an attitude towards building within the existing Alpine fabric, developed over years.
