„Bei uns“ Issue 18/2011 – Architecture in the Brixen Magazine

In July 2011 issue 18 of the „Bei uns“ series appeared in the Brixen magazine with a further feature on our work. At that time Lanz + Mutschlechner / stadtlabor was working on several Brixen projects at once, which was reflected in the coverage.

Over the years, the Brixen coverage in „Bei uns“ was less a succession of individual building presentations than a form of curated, locally rooted architectural communication. It helped the people of Brixen to recognise our signature and to place our projects beyond the site hoarding.

For a practice based in Innsbruck that does a considerable part of its work in South Tyrol, this form of local visibility is an important building block. It complements our presence in supra-regional professional media and in architectural criticism with a level that is closer to the built work and to the people who live with it.
