Bei uns 10.2009 – Brixner architecture supplement

The October 2009 issue of the Brixner supplement “Bei uns” took up the theme of architecture in the Alpine region once again. Stadt:Labor – at that time as Lanz + Mutschlechner / stadtlabor – featured in the coverage with one of our ongoing projects.

The 2009 series in “Bei uns” was an example of how the local press can tell the story of architecture over time: not as a one-off opening announcement, but as a sequence of articles that make a building process, a town debate or a practice’s characteristic way of working visible. This form of journalistic accompaniment has become rare today and was particularly valuable for young practices like ours back then.

We carry the experience of that period into our communication today: architecture cannot be exhausted in a single image or a press release; it needs time, repetition and context to become comprehensible.
